The Burrowing Owl
Like many of the animals, the burrowing owls are endangered because of habitat loss. Since so many people are building human habitats, the owls are losing their habitats. It's because they tend to live in the ground, people fly over the land, and say, "this is okay to build on!" they don't see them burrow deep in the ground! There are about only 800 to 900 of these cute, long legged owls.
